Nevada earthquake: 6.4 magnitude quake strikes US state
An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 struck 57 km west-northwest of Tonopah in Nevada on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The quake was reported at 4:03 a.m (PDT), with a depth of 7.6 km, said the agency.
It occurred just east of the Sierra Nevada mountain range near the Californian border.
Some Californian residents have said on social media they also felt the movement.
